✅ Success story: FLOW TECH & NISSAN Motor Manufacturing UK and Nissan Motor Iberica, S.A. Spain + KOSMEK

We are proud to present a collaboration that represents a real breakthrough in clamping technology: KOSMEK has implemented its VS Pallet Clamp, LHA Swing Clamp, LKA Link Clamp and SWP Pin Clamp systems for FLOW TECH at NISSAN plants in the UK and Spain.
🔍 What we solved:
- Complex parts such as cylinder heads and wheel suspensions required reduced deformations and higher repeatable accuracy during machining
- The goal was to enable robotic welding without jigs (jig-less welding) and standardize solutions across plants
⚙️ What we deployed:
- integrated KOSMEK technologies including the VS Pallet Clamp, LHA (Swing Clamp), LKW (LKW Link Clamp) and SWP (SWP Pin Clamp) type clamps
- These elements enable fast clamping with low pressure (70bar) and high clamping force while also accurately setting to “zero points” during machining and welding
📈 Specific results:
- 150 hydraulic fixtures and more than 260 adapter plates delivered
- 17 robotic grippers for jig-less welding
- applications significant reduction in deformations, increased accuracy and alignment of the production platform at the NMUK & NMISA plants
