Refurbishment of a single-purpose machine for assembling wagon bogie crossbars 🛠️

During July, we successfully carried out a general overhaul 🪛 of a single-purpose machine of our own production, which is designed for the assembly of crossbars of freight rail vehicles 🚆 . The customer of this order was one of the leading 🔝 European manufacturers of freight rail vehicles.

The equipment, which weighs over 7 tons ⚖️ , was first dismantled by our service team directly at the customer's premises and then transported to our production and assembly facilities in Zlín, where the general overhaul itself took place.

In order to ensure optimal access to key components, we had to use a bridge crane 🏗️ to rotate the equipment by 90 degrees compared to its standard working position. This manipulation allowed us to carry out the repair effectively and with maximum efficiency. After the repair was completed, careful testing ▶️ and preparation for putting the machine back into operation were followed.

We managed the entire process - from dismantling to repair to final tests - in a record time of 14 days 📆 . The repair was planned and carried out during the customer's company-wide holiday ⛱️.
